Hanover, Pennsylvania held a dedication ceremony for their new one of a kind, Liberty Bell. The dedication was held on July 20th, 2026 across from the historic Hanover Train Station, near the rear entrance to the Guthrie Memorial Library. This bell is one of seven which York County commissioned by local artists as part of the “Bells Across PA” initiative by America250PA. Hanover’s bell is titled “Building Community”, and was designed by local artist Mary Moores. The artwork features iconic Hanover-area symbols in vibrant primary colors, accented by a bright pretzel-patterned border along the lower rim.
