Fall is rolling into the Gettysburg Railway with the return of a favorite tradition, the Apple Train! On October 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th, passengers aboard select 12:30 p.m. excursions can enjoy complimentary locally grown apples, celebrating the region’s apple harvest. The ride also offers a chance to learn more about the orchard industry and its long history in the Gettysburg area. It’s a simple way to enjoy the sights, flavors and traditions of fall, all from the rails.
