Guided Museum Tours: Gettysburg Beyond the Battle Museum

Discover the multi-century history of Gettysburg through the eyes of an expert local historian. Join one of our knowledgeable docents for a one-hour guided tour of Beyond the Battle Museum, where the remarkable stories of Gettysburg’s civilians come to life through twelve immersive exhibit galleries, more than 1,000 rare artifacts, and engaging multimedia experiences.

Along the way, your guide will share additional stories, historical context, and fascinating details that go beyond the exhibits themselves, providing a deeper understanding of the people who lived through America’s defining conflict. You’ll also experience Caught in the Crossfire, our award-winning 360-degree immersive experience, which places you inside a Gettysburg farmhouse as the battle rages outside.

Whether you’re visiting Gettysburg for the first time or returning to explore it in greater depth, this guided tour offers a richer, more personal way to experience Gettysburg’s newest museum.

Registration is required for this program. The cost for Gettysburg History members or youth (K-12) is $15 and general admission is $20.
