Gettysburg, PA – The Gettysburg Nature Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Darin Weeks to its Board of Directors. Board President Cary Gregory shared his enthusiasm for the appointment, stating:

His professional background, along with his enthusiasm and collaborative spirit, will be an outstanding asset as our organization continues to grow.”
A native of historic Waltham, Massachusetts—coincidentally the hometown of Union General Nathaniel P. Banks—Weeks earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and American History from Boston College and currently works in the finance industry.
An accomplished historian and active member of the Civil War community, Weeks is co-host of the Civil War Breakfast Club Podcast and serves on the Board of Directors of the Civil War Roundtable of Gettysburg. He is also a member of the American Battlefield Trust, the Gettysburg Foundation, and the Surratt Society. Demonstrating his commitment to public history and preservation, he volunteers as a Battlefield Ambassador at Antietam National Battlefield.
