Celebrating 20 Years of Feeding Hope Across South Central PA

Dillsburg, PA – New Hope Ministries is proud to announce a week-long community celebration honoring Executive Director Eric Saunders for 20 years of faithful leadership and service. Beginning September 14th, “Service and Gratitude” will feature memories, photos, well-wishes and community-wide congratulations via New Hope’s social media channels (FacebookInstagramLinkedIn), acknowledging the impact Saunders has made at New Hope and in the region.

Since September 12, 2006 and under Saunders’ leadership, the Christian social service nonprofit has expanded its footprint from serving in two counties to three, from three service locations to 10, and initiating a state-of-the-art mobile pantry network that now serves 30 smaller communities. Through Saunders’ service and stewardship, New Hope has been transformed from a grassroots effort into a lifeline that provides food security, critical basic needs, and long-term stability to thousands of local families each year.

“It has been a special privilege to work alongside so many amazing people – our staff, board members, volunteers, churches, donors, and community partners,” Saunders said. “Even more meaningful is the opportunity to have been part of serving the tens of thousands of families who have come to New Hope during my time here. It is a joy and an honor to see people overcome difficult circumstances, find help and hope, and take steps toward a better future.”

Community members, ministry friends, volunteers, and donors are encouraged to follow along on New Hope’s social media channels to celebrate Saunders’ special “Service and Gratitude” 20th anniversary week.
