On a late spring evening, I drove past this scene and noticed the fresh cut rows of hay. I resolved to rise early the next morning to return for a sunrise photo, knowing that the farmer wasn’t likely to leave those rows hanging around too long. The sunrise, the clouds, and a touch of early morning haze all cooperated.
