r. Market House Mid-Block Crosswalk: Approve installation of a mid-block
crosswalk on East Chestnut Street in front of the Hanover Market House at a
cost of $9,000 for materials.
s. Advertisement of 2024 Tax Ordinance: Ratify approval to advertise an ordinance
levying taxes for the year 2024 at a rate of 6.37 mills.
II. REPORTS OF THE STANDING COMMITTEES
Finance & Personnel Committee – Mr. Roland
1. Consideration of a motion approving Ordinance No. 2358 for Annual Allocation of Main
Street Hanover Funding in the amount of $40,000.
Governance & Policy Committee – Dr. Rupp
1. Consideration of a motion adopting the proposed Nomination Process for Council
President and Vice-President for the biennial reorganization meeting January 2, 2023
at 7:00 PM.
Guthrie Memorial Library – Mr. Reichart
1. Consideration of a motion approving agreements with the Hanover Area Historical Society
for lease and use of a portion of the Guthrie Memorial Library and curatorship of the
Pennsylvania Room Collection.
Public Works and Facilities Committee – Mr. Kress
1. Consideration of a motion approving the Co-Location Lease Agreement for the Urban
Wireless Program of the County of York for installation of a wireless antenna on the
Terrace Avenue Elevated Water Tank.
Public Safety Committee – Dr. Rupp
1. Consideration of a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2359 to prohibit parking along East
Chestnut Street in front of the Hanover Market House.
Stormwater Authority – Mr. Reichart
1. Consideration of a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2357 amending the Articles of
Incorporation for the Borough of Hanover Stormwater Authority to engage in certain
biomass facilities projects.
