Hanover, PA – YWCA Hanover will celebrate the ribbon cutting of their new Children’s Learning Academy on October 2nd at 3 PM. The event will bring together community members, families, staff, and local leaders to celebrate the academy and its role in providing early childhood education and care to families in the Hanover community.

The Children’s Learning Academy was created to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop important skills. With YWCA Hanover’s current programs and services operating at maximum capacity, the organization decided to build a new Children’s Learning Academy.

“Our new Children’s Learning Academy will feature enhanced learning environments with classrooms for sensory learning, a STEM lab, an outdoor garden education center, and so much more,” says YWCA Hanover’s Interim CEO, Sherri Staub. “We are so excited that this idea came to fruition and we can’t wait to serve more families and children in the Hanover community.”

With 12 classrooms, the academy can now provide all day education and care for up to 225 children, from infants to school age, as well as support for working families in the community. Visit YWCA Hanover’s website to see their programs and schedule a tour.
