Amy talks with Heidi Acker, Promotion and Development Director at The Adams Rescue Mission (ARM).
ARM exists to proclaim the passion of Jesus toward the hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted; to accelerate recovery and restoration to the least, last, lonely, and lost.
They do this through multiple programs that benefit our community including a Men’s Shelter, ‘the Agape House’ a women and children’s shelter, a recycling center, a thrift store and more.
Trying to get somebody to come and pick up ladies. Clothing that is fairly decent s*** And some still have tags on the garments. Some have shoes, tiny pieces of furniture, etc. We need somebody to pick them up. Because we have no transportation, we are on disability. A member of the family passed away.
