New Oxford Area Historical Society – “How Fort Loudoun Shaped Pennsylvania’s Colonial Frontier”

Join the New Oxford Area Historical Society, in partnership with the Fort Loudon Historical Society, Community Media and Cross-Keys Village, as they bring you an upcoming program, as they continue their celebration on America 250.

On Tuesday, May 12th at 1:30pm, Fort Loudon Historical Society President Michael Strausner will present a talk titled: “How Fort Loudoun Shaped Pennsylvania’s Colonial Frontier” as part of the society’s Afternoon History Series and America 250 programming. Strausner’s presentation will offer a glimpse into the rich and powerful history of the fort’s past and the work that is being undertaken to resurrect its significance and prominence during the period of the French and Indian War and in advance of the American Revolatuion.

This program is free and open to the public.
