An executive session was conducted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Gettysburg immediately following the adjournment of its monthly public business
meeting held on August 11, 2025 consistent with section 708(a)(1) and section
708(a)(5) of the Sunshine Act.
IV. Approval of Agenda – Council
A motion to approve the August 18, 2025 agenda as presented.

VII. New Business – Motions Needing Council Action
A motion to accept the resignation of employment tendered to the Borough of
Gettysburg by Shannon Hilliard from his position of patrol officer with the
Gettysburg Borough Police Department.
A motion to authorize and ratify the entry into a Separation and Release Agreement
by and between the Borough of Gettysburg and Shannon Hilliard relative to his
resignation of employment and to authorize the performance by the Borough of
Gettysburg of the terms of said Separation and Release Agreement.
A motion to appropriate unbudgeted funds in the amount of $4,000.00 from the
General Fund (Fund 01) for the purpose of engaging the consulting services of
Michael Baker International for the completion and submission of an application to
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Set-Aside program requesting the
amount of $1,500,000.00 in grant funding for the construction of facilities and
infrastructure related to the Gettysburg Inner Loop, Phase B2 project.
