Intro to Forest Health

This workshop is an introduction to forest ecology and covers topics such as forest types in Pennsylvania, biotic and abiotic factors that shape forest health, forest succession, current threats to forest health, and resources that can help woodland owners practice good forest stewardship. This workshop is intended for woodland owners, as well as members of the public who want to learn more about forests.

About the presenter: Angeline Binick volunteers as a Pennsylvania Forest Steward with the James C. Finley Center for Private Forests at Penn State. She also volunteers as a Master Gardener with the Adams County office of the Penn State Extension, and as head of the invasive plant removal crew for Friends of Codorus State Park.
