Holiday Caroling in Historic New Oxford 2025

On Sunday, December 14th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., NOAHS in partnership with Emory United Methodist Church will host a New Oxford annual tradition – Holiday Caroling in Historic New Oxford. What better way to nurture the Christmas spirit than to join neighbors and friends for an evening of holiday caroling in New Oxford’s beautiful center village followed by warm moments enjoying a bit of hot cocoa and cookies.
Attendees should plan to meet within the New Oxford Center Square and will include a guided walk through the adjoining neighborhoods. Participants should bring a flashlight to aid them in viewing the carols that will be provided. Of course, don’t overlook warm clothing and festive attire. Please note that walking across dark, unevenly paved or grassy areas will be involved. Thus, please be sure to wear suitable footwear and bring any needed walking aids. Volunteers will be on-hand to assist and ensure the safety of participants. Plan to join your friends and neighbors for this very special free annual holiday event. In the event of inclement weather, notice will be posted on NOAHS’s website, NewOxfordAreaHistory.org, and its Facebook page should the event need to be cancelled.
