Gettysburg Heritage Center to Host Community Job Fair March 10

March 10 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Gettysburg, PA – Job seekers are invited to stop by the Gettysburg Heritage Center on Tuesday, March 10, from 2 PM – 6 PM for the museum’s first-ever Job Fair. The event will feature 12 local businesses from across Adams County, all looking to connect with potential employees.

Whether you are searching for a part-time, full-time, or seasonal position, this event offers a great opportunity to meet a variety of employers all in one place. With spring just around the corner, many local businesses are preparing for the busy season and are eager to hire and train new team members. Students and anyone seeking seasonal work are especially encouraged to attend.

Participating businesses include **The Cottage Creperie, Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, Gettysburg Heritage Center, Horse Tours of Gettysburg, Adams County Winery, The Lodges at Gettysburg, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gettysburg, The Barn Resort, Regimental Quartermaster, Granite Hill Campground, Best Western Gettysburg, and J. A. Myers Homes.

“I know this time of year can be important for both employers and job seekers as the weather begins to change and the need for help grows,” said organizer Stephanie Lightner. “We thought this would be a great way to bring the community together, especially since we often see people stopping in looking for employment opportunities.”

Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, if available, and to be ready to speak with employers. A designated area will also be available for completing applications during the event.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Gettysburg Heritage Center is operated by the Gettysburg Nature Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the education, preservation, and rehabilitation of Gettysburg’s habitat and heritage. While Gettysburg is best known for the pivotal three-day battle fought in July 1863, the area is also defined by its rich natural landscape. This connection between history and environment creates a unique experience—reminding us that we cannot preserve our history without also preserving the land that shaped it.
