Gettysburg is ready to welcome the New Year in grand style with it’s annual community celebration, themed “From Lincoln Square to Times Square.” Organized by the Gettysburg New Year’s Eve Committee and Good Samaritan Lodge No. 336 Free & Accepted Masons the event promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment, family fun, and a uniquely Gettysburg countdown.
Building on the success of last year’s festivities-which drew more than 2,300 attendees-this year’s event will expand with more live entertainment, food trucks, and kids’ activities! At the heart of it all will be Gettysburg’s signature tradition: the raising of “Lincoln’s Hat” at midnight, a nod to the town’s historic legacy. Come out to the square, with official events kicking off at 4pm, and stay around to ring in the New Year.
