Franklin County Visitors Bureau Celebrates Tourism Success and Community Partners at March 17 Brunch

Franklin County Visitors Bureau invites the community to “get your Irish on” at its St. Patrick’s Day Tourism Brunch. What better day to celebrate a successful year of tourism in Franklin County than Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The event brings together tourism partners, businesses, organizations, and community members at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center.

Brunch and the program will take place in the second‑floor Great Room, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding by 12:30 PM. Guests will enjoy a festive menu featuring:
  • Spinach Egg Frittatas (gluten‑free; vegan option available with advance request)
  • Herby Frilly French Salad with green beans and champagne mustard vinaigrette (gluten‑free and vegan)
  • Colcannon Soup, a warm twist on the classic Irish dish with potatoes, shredded cabbage, bacon, and cheese
  • Ham and Cheese Mini Croissant Sandwiches
  • Parsley Irish Potatoes (gluten‑free and vegan)
  • Green Goddess Flatbreads (vegan)
Attendees will meet members of the Visitors Bureau board and staff and learn about the impact of tourism in Franklin County throughout 2025. Highlights include a Placer.ai visitation presentation showing where visitors travel from and how many are discovering Franklin County, along with updates on 2026 social media initiatives.
The program also features several recognitions:
  • Presentation of 2025 Festival of Trees funds to the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance
  • Announcement of the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) of the Year
  • Recognition of winners of the Always the Right Time to Do the Right Thing Essay Contest
  • Presentation of the Partner for Impact Award and Community Impact Award
The brunch concludes with a St. Patrick’s Day Riddle Game, complete with fun prizes from the Franklin County Pour Trail and Franklin Fresh Farm Stores.
