Please join us for the 27th Annual Confederates Take the Shriver House! For just one evening a year, the Shriver House comes to life for this unique living history reenactment. While tour guides tell the Shrivers’ story, visitors can also expect to:

• Stand just feet from soldiers firing out of the attic
• Hear from Ms. Hettie and friends as the battle draws near
• Learn what it was like for surgeons and nurses to treat wounded soldiers
• Sip a cool root beer in the saloon
• …and more!

This event sells out every year, so advance tickets are encouraged. Tours take approximately 45 minutes and begin at 5 p.m.
