For just one evening a year\, the Shriver House comes to life for this unique living history reenactment. While tour guides tell the Shrivers’ story\, visitors can also expect to: \n\nStand just feet from soldiers firing out of the attic\nHear from Ms. Hettie and friends as the battle draws near\nLearn what it was like for surgeons and nurses to treat wounded soldiers\nSip a cool root beer in the saloon\n…and more!\n\nThis event sells out every year\, so advance tickets are encouraged. Tours take approximately 45 minutes and begin at 5 p.m. \nTickets:\n$20/general admission; $18/Gettysburg History members; $15/youth (grades K-12). Reserve your tickets here.
