Overdose Awareness Memorial Walk

Friday evening, August 30 th , the Overdose Awareness Memorial Walk will begin at 7:15 pm. The purpose
of the vigil is to honor Adams County families who suffered an overdose loss. The event will commence
at 7:15 pm in front of the Adams County Courthouse at 117 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg. Adams
County Commissioners will give a few remarks. The walk will begin at 7:45 pm.
We are seeking family members of loved ones to be honored at the memorial walk. Please contact
Michelle Kern at firstname.lastname@example.org to provide a picture of your loved one.
On Saturday, the Overdose Awareness Taskforce will be at the Adams County Farmers Market at 103
Carlisle Street, Gettysburg. Information on the opioid crisis, county resources, and prevention tools will

affects of overdose, services available and provide prevention services. The taskforce meets monthly.
