Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce to Host Economic Breakfast April 19

One of the region’s most respected economic experts headlines the annual Adams County Economic Breakfast, co-hosted by the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce and Adams County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC), at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Gettysburg.
Warren Hurt, F&M Trust vice president and chief investment officer, will present, “National Economic Outlook: What It Means for U.S. and YOU.”
“This event is an excellent opportunity to provide business and non-profit leaders with an overview of the national economy, especially considering the recent administration change,” said Carrie Stuart, chamber president. “We look forward to hearing from a leading economic expert on how policy changes will impact local businesses moving forward.”
Hurt has more than 17 years of investment management experience. In his role at F&M, he forms and implements investment policy and strategy and manages portfolios for individuals, trusts, corporations and non-profit organizations. Hurt is the featured daily contributor to News Talk Radio’s 103.7 “Morning Money & Market Update” report.
“Global and national trends have a direct impact on the local economy, so putting our fingers on the pulse of 2017’s economic forecast is vital,” said Robin Fitzpatrick, ACEDC president. “We look forward to Mr. Hurt’s analysis and insights, providing an overview of the economic health of our county, region and nation.”
